Our Yarns

Our hand-dyed yarns are individually created using artisan methods. Each skein is carefully crafted from natural fibres and hand-dyed taking inspiration from Australian flora, fauna and country.

Some of our yarns are dyed using botanical/ natural dyes. We love the slow delicate process of this and the beautifully unique solid & semi- solid colours that are created. Note the special care instructions for these yarns.

Sock/ 4ply

Superwash Merino

100% Superwash Merino.

Approximately 100g/ 400m per skein. Also available in 20g/ 80m minis skeins.

A soft fine yarn. Excellent for knitted and crocheted shawls and drapey garments.

Either hand wash or wash in a garment bag on the gentle cycle in your machine.

Superwash Merino

100% Superwash Merino.

Approximately 100g/ 250m per skein. Also available in 20g/ 45m minis skeins.

Super soft and squishy this yarn is the ultimate allrounder. A beautiful tight twist makes this yarn excellent for knitted and crocheted garments and throws.

Either hand wash or wash in a garment bag on the gentle cycle in your machine

Merino Hemp

70% Australian Merino 30% Hemp

Approximately 95g/ 190m per skein.

A textured yarn soft enough for garments. This yarn is light and airy and the hemp fibre gives the yarn a heathered look. Great for summer tops, winter pullovers or for weaving.

Gently hand wash in warm water and dry flat in shade.

DK Merino Cotton

50% Superwash Merino 50% Cotton

Approximately 100g/ 212m

Soft enough to wear against the skin, this yarn is great for retaining shape and has little stretch. A breathable yarn for summery or wintery garments.

Either hand wash or wash in a garment bag on the gentle cycle in your machine.

85% Superwash Merino 1

5% Wool Donegal Nep

Approximately 100g/ 400m per skein.

A soft fine yarn. Excellent for adding some texture to your knitting or crochet.

Roving

22 micron Australian Merino tops. These lovely soft braids are hand painted and perfect for hand spinning and are soft enough to wear next to skin.

DK/ 8ply Pima Cotton

100% Pima Cotton

Approximately 100g/ 200m per skein.

Luxurious silky soft Pima Cotton has a sheen similar to silk. This yarn has very little stretch and bounces back into shape when wet without the need for blocking.

Gently hand wash in warm water and dry flat in shade.
